hi everybody it’s me Betty let’s cut four more rocks from Tonopah actually I free form polish one so five rocks from Tonopah I’ve been itching to cut this one since I got home but I’ve also misplaced this rock a couple of times so before I lose it again let’s cut it open and see what’s inside I’m still

working on my polishing process I’ve added a few stages and gotten some really good advice but I’m still waiting for a couple more items to show up um I did give these rocks a Polish and I will show them at the end of the video wow I love this rock this is one of my favorite rocks I’ve

ever cut it just really caught me off guard how gorgeous this is wow when I check the local weather forecast I usually look at a bunch of other locations weather as well you know because well because road trips and if I’m not traveling I’m usually daydreaming about my next trip so I like to Window Shop the weather

so I can daydream about it but it hasn’t been very nice in Tonopah lately we were really lucky to have the great weather we had on our trip I’m going to Georgia for a couple of days next week just spending a couple of days in Atlanta to visit my aunt so watch out Georgia Betty might be around

this one’s about five different colors of white I like it a lot though really pretty little white clouds I have not been back to Georgia to visit for years and years so it’s a long time coming but I’m I’m missing an important event while I’m there I don’t know there’s a lot of mixed feelings but my husband

bought me some rockhounding books and I’m going to try to do at least one little rockhounding Excursion while I’m out there hopefully I don’t step in any fire ant hills this little rock I can’t find it um at this time it’s completely missing but I haven’t asked my husband about it yet I was a little bit surprised

that it wasn’t dark all the way through well I was a lot surprised um but it had some little specs in it you know it’s interesting now I need to cut more of them and I’m curious about what the rocks that are in the tumbler are going to look like I mean it could just make them look

even more interesting maybe we’ll check on those here in a little bit so um my camera decided to turn into a potato and focus on I don’t know what the hell it’s focused on absolutely nothing oh I really like this one too lots of pretty colors lots of layers I didn’t expect it to have this much going

on I haven’t heard a peep from any Nevada rockhounds on my channel yet um I wonder if there’s any out there you know hello y all out there you guys have some pretty great rocks though I got to go back I mean so many of the rocks that I’ve cut have been crazy on the inside and it’s

just beautiful I haven’t rockhounded in Georgia before I mean not as an adult so I don’t have any clue what I’m doing uh Jeff from j&v Rockhounding was just down there though so I mean I do know to look for quartz points I’ll do my best to keep my feet out of the fire ant hills and eat

some barbecue for y’all maybe some boiled peanuts this one turned out to be just bright yellow little bit of green small bits of orange I’m not sure if this is similar to the other green petrified wood that I found out there I’m not sure what what this material is yet I didn’t look at it close enough I

like this one a lot though this next Rock I’m certain that it’s petrified wood um and it it is C certainly very petrified I mean it has a constitution it was not going to do whatever I wanted I mean I I could have cut this rock but as I started grinding down away at it it it started

revealing wood grain and I don’t know this thing was just so tough and that I decided to kind of keep it half natural the wood grain looks a little bit like um like I like scratches but it those aren those aren’t scratches it’s those that’s the natural wood grain that just refused to go away so we kept

it I like it you know I I buffed it as much as I could and you know all of these little scratches and artifacts they were there and um you know you go ahead and try and scratch this rock it’s just some of the hardest stuff I’ve ever felt I think it looks pretty neat like this you

know to me it would be a shame to cut all that off um I don’t know what do you think what do you think about that I left the bottom of it just completely rough I like that contrast I have a few more pictures and videos of these rocks and I’ll add them to the end of this

video whoa cut I need to show you guys the tumble progress so this is after about two weeks and I’m I mean it needs a couple more weeks I’m sure but let’s take a look yeah these are looking pretty good I mean they’re just so getting pretty smooth I love tumbles why was I why wasn’t I doing

this why was my tumbler empty if your tumbler is empty this is your sign put rocks in it I know I’m biased I really like these rocks they’re just getting juicier and juicier I’ll do another update on these in a couple of weeks I’m not an expert tumbler and the way that I like my rocks is not

I don’t like them to be perfect uh so they’ll still have some imperfections when I’m ready to move them to stage three but um I don’t like them to be just completely devoid of any character everybody has their own aesthetic I guess I can’t wait to cut the next Rock see you soon
